Things I don't want to see on a first date. When I call you a car or pick you up, I expect you to be downstairs in the lobby waiting. I'm gonna give you the same grace that Uber gives you. If you're not down there in five minutes, I'm out. Because you already knew what time I was coming. So now I'm gonna assume that you just don't value my time. Being late isn't a personality trait, it's blatant disrespect. Next, I'm going to offer to open all your doors. Please do not get in the way of that. Just step to the side and allow me to open it. When we're being walked to our table by the waiter, I need you to be mindful that I need to see that faces, the entrance. If the seat that is facing the door is a more comfortable seat and you want it, I need you to be prepared to sit next to me. I prefer that, so I don't feel like an interview. But regardless, I need to see the door, so be mindful of that. Number five, during our date, I want you to be fully present. You should not be on your phone, as just super disrespectful. Now, just because you know I'm paying for it, that don't mean order the most expensive shit on the menu. Also, I think as a lady, one to two drinks on a first date is more than sufficient. It's not even about the money or being cheap, it's about being considerate and having class as a woman. Lastly, at the end of the date, all I expect is for you to say thank you. You will be surprised at the amount of women who forget to say thank you. Showing gratitude for the small things, it encourages us to do even more. I don't want you to come off as ungrateful because that'll probably be our last day.
