POV you ask HR to sign a non compete too. As part of your employment agreement. Just so I understand, why exactly do companies have these? Well, when you think about it, we're investing a lot in you. Training you, educating you, giving you access to our customers, our processes. Okay. And if you left, you could take all that knowledge to a competitor and use it against us. Yeah, no, that actually makes sense. Yeah. In that case, I'm going to need you to sign this. Sign what? It's a non compete as well. For us? Correct. Now, that's not how it works. Well, I mean, I'll be spending years of my life building customer relationships, creating decks, documenting processes, onboarding clients, building up the reputation of this company. And if I leave and you replace me, you're still going to benefit from all of my work. And that can make it much harder for me to compete against you after I leave. It says for 2 years after I leave, you won't be able to hire anyone new in my role. Protecting my competitive advantage. 2 years, haha. That's ridiculous. Why? Because we need someone to do the work. Exactly.
