RE: maternity leave maternity leave when a woman has a baby of course she takes maternity leave of course she takes maternity leave how long do I think it should be um well how long does it take to have a baby sometimes 24 hours shit 24 hours shit give her two days then give her two days then usually for several months fully paid last time I had the flu I recovered in a long weekend and I feel like that's pretty comparable even up to one year is quite common it's very acceptable two weeks is my max it has to be unpaid It's very understood that recovering from childbirth is not short process recovering from childbirth is not short process she needs more time to bond with the baby too the body needs time the body needs time are you sure I feel like they're like automatically bonded for life right and the family needs time and the family needs time I feel like we should loop HR in on that claim cause that sounds fake to me the job is still here when they come back of course we plan for it I can't guarantee her job will still be here when she gets back Two weeks a lot can change it's just how you say part of employment maybe it's time to become a stay at home Mommy and say bye bye to the career that's what my mom did
