the housing market in the North Carolina triangle is starting to crack. You remember those days when houses would have bidding wars and they would sell before even hitting the market. Well, those days are over. In Wake County, the foreclosures doubled since last year. And in Durham County, they went up more than 300%. In Johnston County, they went up 55% since last year. So this is a sign of increasing financial pressure on homeowners in the area due to elevated mortgage rates and those insurance rates that keep going up.
