The Pilates police might come for me for this one. I taught an instructor class a couple weeks ago. We didn't do any advanced repertoire. We did probably what Club Pilates would consider like a level one, maybe with a little bit of spice. I had so many instructors come up to me after and say that was the hardest class I'd ever taken. Not because we didn't do anything fancy, actually quite the opposite because we did foundational movements properly. So, you know, I want us as a collective, as Pilates instructors to abandon this idea that fancy is gonna lead to, you know, some fantastical world we all live in. We need to like get back to basics and that is where the beauty lives.
