COME FLY HOME WITH US FROM INDIA ➡️ UK ON EASILY THE WORST TRAVEL DAY WE HAVE EVER HAD!! but potentially it's our own fault remember a couple of months ago when this happened well this video was filmed back in March so i'm not saying that this is the case anymore but this is a situation that we dealt trying to travel through that our original flight was to fly through Dubai and so many people made wise choices probably rearrange their flights or cancel their flights and go alternative routes but we decided to trust the universe and go on our original flight via Dubai and yeah we regretted it we were at Bengaluru airport and we were just checking into our flight we're flying with Emirates today and obviously we started to preempt the fact we were gonna be delayed so I so gladly took so much stuff out of my suitcase and put it into my hand luggage which I'm forever grateful for and potentially Bangalore is up there with one of the nicest looking airports I have ever been to so we were quite happy when it said that there was gonna be an hour delay we just went for some food and then when it said it was gonna be a two hour delay we just took our time having food then the three hour delay this is a little bit fishy so we decided to quickly go and find somewhere to set up for the night because this is about to be a very very long night it's all gone wrong bruh all gone wrong the delay quickly turned into a 12 hour delay so we slept on the seats in Bengaluru airport before finally joining the queue and boarding our flight to Dubai which we were very grateful that it wasn't cancelled so we were just keeping positive to be honest I knew I could do it we could do it the flight to Dubai was actually empty because no one else was as stupid as us to get on the flight to Dubai but we were grateful for it just missed our connection by 12 hours so when we got to Dubai we actually joined a huge queue of Emirates passengers who obviously had also missed their connections now the queue took forever and at this point we're now 26 hours into our travel day so you can imagine the last four I stand in a queue for four hours which we did but it can't be helped and the staff was so nice when we finally got to the front and they actually just no questions asked booked us on to the next available flight which was in 12 hours time and they also sorted it out with free visa free e sim free transport into the city free hotel free food vouchers really can't complain they dealt with it so well and we're very grateful for that it was also kind of exciting to see a new country for the first time I've never been to Dubai before very good at looking at the positives in every situation regardless of the fact that it's now been 30 hours since we started this travel day we checked into our hotel it was really nice very very busy but really nice the queue to check in did take two hours but still we're being positive because after 32 hours now we're in a bed but we weren't asleep for long cause after 45 minutes both our phones started going crazy telling us there was a missile overhead but we kind of just ignored it cause what else can you do went back to sleep and then I woke up and I was full of energy and I wanted to drag Luke to go and do some sightseeing I just decided why not make the most out of this opportunity Luke was not on the same mindset but I convinced him to get in a taxi and just go and see at least one site so we went to Dubai Mall and our driver took us to the Burj Khalifa took some pictures and then went back to our hotel in time for our pick up to go back to the airport we're currently at the 41 hour Mark of travel with another 10 to go but we're finally getting on our flight to Manchester flight to Manchester we boarded the flight and realised very quickly that we were definitely the lucky ones doing 40 hours of travel is by far the least amount of travel than anyone else on our flight had done some people had been stranded here for days we were very grateful to be on this flight and I cannot make this up we were literally on the plane and the plane was literally taxiing we were moving to the runway when all of a sudden everyone on the flight's phone started going crazy with these alerts once again saying that there was missiles overhead so the plane stopped right where it was on the tarmac and we watched all of the staff from the ground staff walk away from the plane leave us in the tarmac and go and stand undercover which was the scariest moment of the whole trip I won't lie but still we're being positive because the pilot came over explained the entire situation so we're just gonna wait for the threat to go after about 15 minutes of feeling like sitting ducks we took off and got back home that then took our total travel time up to 50 hours with an hour left to go to get back to Wales and when we landed it was freezing so once again complete disclaimer this was filmed months ago it was filmed back in March this is not the situation in the Middle East anymore we have since flown through the Middle East on multiple occasions and not had these delays and if anything we're actually very impressed with how well looked after we were on the entire situation so hats off to Emirates for really looking after us during this entire ordeal
