Welcome back to the second part of our travel day. Our travel from Boston to Kochi, which should have been just one day ended up being two. We left off in Abu Dhabi where we missed our connecting flight and had to stay in a hotel. But we made the most out of it because they had food and a good stay. I was able to shower. After around 10 hours in the hotel, we drove over to the airport with just the right amount of time before our 2:00 a.m. flight to Delhi. If you didn't know, we actually missed our connecting flight because of a delay in Boston. But one of the perks out of it was a lot of complimentary meals and vouchers. So for two girls that normally wouldn't spend any money in foreign airports, we were able to get some snacks and coffee. Did that numb the pain of having to sit on another flight? Unfortunately, I would say no. We had to do our immigration in Delhi and also transfer our bags to a domestic plate. So it was kind of a lot to be doing in two hours. So we were on it. We were trying to get everything done. Thankfully, we did and after that it was quite smooth. We were able to change because we have our checked in bag. And thank Thank you to my dad for driving. We have a nice long drive back. We always enjoy people that live near the airport because you have no idea what it's like to hop off a plane just to drive another three hours back home. But after so many hours, we were able to have some pineapple juice on the road, buy some quilts and finally reach home.
