If you're on the beginning dose and you're wondering why the scale is not moving, there's a reason why. I've been on a GLP-1 for three years. I'm on the heaviest O-O-25, lowest is 0-125, I'm currently 0-150. You're probably wondering what the heck is going on, especially if you're hitting your water goals or protein goals. Truly, the beginning dose is not a therapeutic dose. It's meant to introduce our body to the M-E-D. For example, when you first sip of coffee, what do you do? You do this. Slowly, right? Because you're not sure if you're going to burn your mouth or your tongue. Same thing when it comes to the GLP-1, it's just a little bit to see how your body responds to it. The last thing you want to do is jump on the high dose and you have every side effect imaginable. I know some people that started on the beginning dose and they just have tons of side effects. And then I see people where they start and they feel like they're taking nothing. If I was to start all over again, this is what I would personally do. Focus on my water goals, my protein goals, and try to figure out what I'm going to do actively in my health journey. We have to be careful what we say here. So hopefully you're catching along. That way when you do go up in dose, your body's going to be prepared and you're more than likely not going to have any side effects. But I want to hear from you guys. When you started on the beginning dose, did the scale move? Personally, I did drop 15, but I think it was just a bunch of water weight for me.
