Y'all think a salon girlie is just walking around with a dirty scalp? Yeah, not in this house. I never skip a wash day and it always includes a clarifying shampoo and a very hydrating conditioner. But the most crucial tip, if you really want to get to that scalp, you need to invest in a handheld shower head. I got this one from Moen and I live in an apartment, but this was super easy to install on my own. Now, again, because scalp health is important, you want to make sure you're giving it a little more love to your roots. And this install was done with a net so I can actually reach my scalp. Now, what do we do with shampoo? We lather, rinse, repeat. And I like going in with a second shampoo that's a little more hydrating. And today is a deep conditioning day. I do this about once a month, lathering it over every strand and letting that sit while I wash the rest of my body. And we are all done in the shower. It is now time to style.
