when i tell people im learning bisayan, not tagalog...

Oh, yeah. My boyfriend's actually Filipino. Oh my god, I love that. Have you learned any Tagalog yet? Actually, my boyfriend and his family are from Cebu, so they speak Bisayan instead of Tagalog. Oh my god, how cool. Okay, so then have you learned any of his language yet? Yeah, actually, I keep notes right here. So here it is. I keep some notes on, like, just some very basic phrases that I like to use with his family. Check it out. Mmm. All these are good. Okay, okay. One note, just so you know, um, for this, we actually say something else. So like, just so you are aware, for when you wanna speak to his family in Tagalog, we say this. Oh, but I, I'm not. I'm not speaking Tagalog. He speaks Bisayan. Yeah, but just, like, when you're talking to your boyfriend, like, in Tagalog, we say this instead of, like, what you have written down that your boyfriend taught you. Yeah, I'm not sure you understand. I'm not learning Tagalog. I'm learning Bisayan. No, no, no, I get it. I get it. Yeah, yeah. I know. I get it. I'm just saying, like, when you're like, speaking to his family, when you're at, like, a party or something, in Tagalog, we say this. I'm not learning Tagalog.
