Last night was tretinoin. I'm going to show you how I layer my morning skincare routine using Azelaic Acid. First, I wash my face with just cold water. I don't use a cleanser. Okay, next I'm going in with a lightweight toner. You can go in with a water-based serum. And I'm going to let this completely sit. Here's a little tip. If your Azelaic Acid cream or gel starts peeling or becomes flaky, it means you didn't let the previous product fully dry. So I'm going in with the Azelaic Acid. My face is completely dry. So I'm going to apply this all over my face and not just individual spots. As it works best to improve texture, redness and tone. This is an active ingredient. So if you're new to this, only use it one to two times a week. Also, if it starts getting red or it stings, try the sandwich method. My skin is completely dry. Now I'm going in with a moisturizer. This one's very thick. This is by E2U Soon Jung. It's an active ingredient. So it's not going to happen or work overnight. Next is sunscreen. You cannot skip this. You have to remember that Azelaic Acid is an active ingredient. So your skin is more sensitive to the sun. And that is how I layer my morning skincare routine. The day after tretinoin.
