Let's look at some planners at Barnes & Noble. These are all aesthetically what I would want in a planner. I like this. I think I think this is a really simple setup that I can get behind. Ooh, Paper Source. Real simple, I like it. It's literally just full monthly calendars followed by pages for notes. Very cute. Love. If I were going to get a really big one, that one speaks to me. Boom, this one. We got to-do lists. Not really assigned to any given day though, which kind of throws me off. I'm like, I don't know if Oh, oh no, it is. It is. Days of the week, to-do lists. Hmm, I don't know if I like that setup. I don't know if I'm into that. This one has the columns for the days of the week. This is the version of a planner I liked best when I was in school. If you were going to buy a planner out of the ones that I've shown you, which one would you go with?

When I was in school a written planner was my lifeline to keep track of when assignments and tests were happening. As an adult I struggle to find a written system that sustainably works for me. Digital planners are easiest for an ever-changing work calendar, but I do hold onto the idea that a written calendar can fit into my life. Maybe I’ll try a bigger one?
