My husband's debit card finally came in the mail. So now we've got his and hers. And you can choose the color you want. So he decided to go with black. If I was gonna order him a color, I probably would have gotten him black too. But it took about seven days to arrive. So I have the crew account set up for both of us. I've decided to not give us any individual spending pockets. So there's no like, his spending pocket, her spending pocket. It's just food, transportation and other. Now I like the functionality of the debit card, which is like, right now it has a $0 balance. If I want to spend money on it, I have to go into my crew finance app, select the pocket I want to spend from, spend the money, and then this card goes back to zero. Like I like having to choose the pocket every single time. He doesn't. He's like, I'm not gonna do that. I set his card up differently. His card is going to automatically pull from food. Just by default. Because there's no pocket list mode. So like, it has to be connected to a pocket of some kind. So I put his connected to food. And then I added a whole bunch of pocket automation rules. So like, if either of our cards spend at Trader Joe's, that's gonna come from the food pocket. If any of us go into and out or get gas, it's gonna come out of a designated pocket. So like, he doesn't have to think about anything. You know what I mean? I've never used this functionality before. So I'm interested to see how it goes. Like, I don't know. Oh, maybe I'll have his default pull from checking. I don't know. I'm gonna roll with that as I find out more information. But I'm so excited.
