So I heard you all were a little bit interested in journaling solo RPG's. So let's talk through some of the ones that I own, my recommendations and what you need to get started. So first let's talk about what is a solo RPG. RPG just stands for role playing games. So this is a solo role playing game and you use journaling as the means to tell the story and to play. So first one is No-Tell Motel. And this one you work at a motel where someone has been murdered. And you have to sift through the ledgers, the gossip, all the things to find out who did it and why. All you need for this one is a deck of cards and six sided die. Another thing about solo RPG journaling games is that everything that you need to know is inside of the game. How to play, the instructions, everything. So it takes out all the guesswork. You don't gotta look up anything online, nothing of that nature. Everything you need, instructions is all built in. Makes it the perfect solo game. The next one is Galatea. This one is a little bit more dark. You wake up as a sentient masterpiece of your creator, and you are navigating this game trying to live up to his expectations, in essentially building your confidence and making sure that he doesn't really get upset. For this one, you do need a different set of tools. You either can use a tarot or a deck of cards, Jenga or like the tumbling tower. This one takes about four to six hours to play. And lastly, Thousand Year Old Vampire. The name speaks for itself. You are playing as a thousand year old vampire seeking the souls and drinking the blood. This one is a more of the emotional roller coaster, so mature audiences only 18+. I really want to stress to that point. To play this one all you need is a 6 sided die and a 10 sided die. This is another reason why I love solo RPG journaling games, cause you don't really need a lot to get started. Those are all of my journaling solo RPG recommendations. If you're looking for something to get started with, I'd say go with No-Tell Motel. But if you want something that's gonna take hours, choose Galatea. But if you want an emotional roller coaster that's gonna take hours and even weeks, I go with Thousand Year Old Vampire. Again, mature audiences.
