Everyone talks about algorithms. But after 8,700 deliveries, I think DoorDash is just as much about energy. The energy you bring when you accept an order. The way you communicate with customers. The decisions you make when something goes wrong. The patience you have when the restaurant is behind. The way you treat every delivery, even the small ones. I’ve noticed that on the days I show up frustrated, rushed, or chasing money, everything seems harder. On the days I show up like a business owner, stay calm, communicate well, and make good decisions… the day usually gives that energy right back. Sometimes it’s not the algorithm. Sometimes it’s the energy you’re putting into the work. What’s one habit that made you a better Dasher?
