The moment I stopped treating DoorDash like “hustle money” and started treating it like my job… everything changed. I stopped chasing every order. I started studying my market. I learned patterns. I focused on customer service. I treated it like a business. Whether DoorDash is your long-term plan or just your next chapter, if it’s paying your bills today, respect it enough to become good at it. Professional Dashers think differently. I made was treating DoorDash like a side hustle when it was actually paying my bills. For years I told myself, this isn't a real job. Logged in whenever I felt like it. Refused to go outside of the zone that I lived in. I wasn't studying in my market for restaurant patterns. Everything changed after for Dash. Wasn't just money anymore. Was how I had to survive. So that's when I stopped treating side hustle, treating it like a business. Market, I started implementing my customer service skills. I learned which orders make sense. Making decisions emotionally. And here's what I've realized. Most dasher's are embarrassed to say that they're a Doordasher because they're worried about what some people think & friend, a lot of these Doordashers are paying their bills, paying their bills, purchase new cars, taking their families on vacations, debt. And in some cases, Doordashers are making more people that are judging them. Whether you do this for six months or six years, if DoorDash is paying your bills today, respect it enough at it. Doing DoorDash for, so I know people are not gonna agree with me, make sure you my name is T, TerranLikeKaren with a T, but just a little differently for those of you who don't know me. And I help Doordashers gain clarity on their emotions. I'll see tomorrow. Peace.
