I used to get mad when I saw a DoorDash order with no tip. Then I realized I was focusing on the wrong thing. Once I learned my market, my hourly goal, restaurant patterns, positioning and deadhead miles, I stopped worrying about whether the customer tipped and started asking one question: Does this offer make sense for MY business? If it doesn’t, I decline it and keep moving. I can’t control the customer’s tip. I can control my strategy. 🤷🏾♀️ I’m not telling you to take $2 orders. I’m telling you to stop letting bad offers make your business decisions emotional. What do you think? 👀
