I'm 27 years old. I own 3 houses. I have 3 mortgages. And the rent that I get from my tenants every single month does not cover said mortgage. You guys obviously think I'm crazy. That I'm stupid, that I'm crazy, that I have no idea what I'm doing. I should just sell those houses. Do you know what equity is? I don't really have a savings account. Leftover money that I have that I would normally put into a savings account, I just go and put it into my house. I really do. The faster that I can get that baby paid off, the faster that I'm getting money into my bank. And guess what? Once I get one house paid off, I'm gonna start putting extra into the next house. And then I'm gonna start putting extra into the next house. And at my goal, I'm probably to be retired by 40. You guys think it's crazy. You guys really do. And if you think it's crazy and stupid, I'm just surprised at how many people do not understand equity. My husband makes good money. I make good money. I have money off social media. I just budget. I simply just budget that paycheck. Typically it's just my nursing paycheck. Sometimes I include what my husband made also. Whatever money I get, I'm just dumping it into my house. You know, if you don't understand then you don't really understand equity. And you know, some people would prefer to rent their entire life than actually buy a house because then you're going to be responsible for said house. If, you know, heating system goes out, if whatever happens, you are responsible instead of just calling your landlord. You know, if you don't understand then you don't really understand equity.
