Day 01 of cooking school in Maine! At Salt Water Farm in Maine. If you followed me for a while, you know that last summer I went to Ballymaloe in Ireland and this summer my dad and I, my best friend and her mom are all going to a cooking school together in Maine. We started the morning by exploring Camden and then we got a little bit of lunch at McLoon's, which was honestly so good. Everybody says the lobster in Maine is better and it is so true. I swear the cold water just makes it so tasty. I haven't explored much of Maine as an adult so this was a really fun morning. Today was just the welcome dinner so we went back to our little Airbnb and got changed so that we could get over to Salt Water Farm and get started. My bestie and her mom are also doing the course so we went over to see them before heading over to the dinner. This is so fun that we're all doing this as a group. I think cooking courses are such a fun way to travel because you get to experience the culture by its food, which is really fun. Salt Water Farm was obviously gorgeous and so beautiful. So the welcome dinner was really fun. We got to meet everybody, eat an incredible meal and kind of just walk the grounds. We'll start back up tomorrow morning for a full day of cooking and a little bit of exploring Maine.
