Okay we all know that San Francisco housing market is absolutely ballistic right now with the AI bubble. If you do have to move here, this is something that I would strongly recommend. My friends just moved here from New York City and they got a two bed, two bath in the Marina, super great location for 5.8, and a washer and dryer in unit and a parking spot included in the rent. And how they did this is they actually knew somebody who was in that same unit that was moving out. So they were able to get it before it hit the market. And the owners, the rental company was super motivated to rent it out before it hit market because they didn't have to pay a real estate agent. There was zero turnaround time. Sometimes units can sit for like a month out between like somebody signing a new contract, somebody moving out, patching up stuff. So yeah, it was all seamless on both ends and they were able to get a deal. I feel like if that unit hit the market, it would have easily went for 7.5 even and then maybe had a bidding war. So they definitely lucked out and I'm super happy for them. If you are moving here and are looking to move, definitely try to find somebody who's already moving out, somebody who can recommend you into their building before uh, a unit hits the market.
