Today I'm attempting the food chain challenge. First, I'm using this tiny lure which represents the bottom of the food chain. I dropped it in off the side of the dock and I was slowly bouncing it off the bottom. When I finally got a hit and hooked into the next level of the food chain. This is a red breast sunfish which I rigged up to even fish bigger fish. I cast it out onto this submerged rock pile, potentially could catch me catfish, bass, or even a muskie. I set the rod down and now all I could do was wait. Long waiting to rod and check bait there. Unfortunately, my live bait must have swam into a rock and got it stuck. I could not get it out, so I guess I have to start the challenge all over again. I caught myself another panfish. Bait was sent into the depths to see if it will catch me the next level of the food chain.
