Today I'm eating only what I can catch from the ocean. I walked up to the spot, pulled out my new secret lure, got right to business. As usual, I'm fishing for summer flounder. These fish are delicious and would make a great meal. After a little while, a fish picked up my lure and got right to business. This fish was fighting hard, hopefully it's big enough to come home for dinner. One decent one. I pulled it on shore and got my measuring tape out. For bad news for me, it's less than an inch short, so it would be illegal to keep it. So I sent it back to support our summer flounder population. I still need to catch dinner, so I got back to fishing. One more. Where there's one, there's usually more, but my luck fell flat after that. All I could catch were weeds and another flounder that was way too short to keep. Luckily for me, I had a backup plan that would make sure I won't go hungry tonight.
