my life changed the moment that I asked myself this one question and it made myself be completely honest with the answer. I was in a very dark place where I felt like I was just kept trying and trying and trying and I wasn't succeeding at anything. I looked around me and I saw all these people doing what I wanted to do. It seemed like everything was working out for them. Like everyone in my circle was so happy with the path that they were on and yet I was here and I felt like such a complete failure. Like I hadn't accomplished anything. I was being so hard on myself and I was in such a destructive mindset. The thoughts of giving up were creeping in my mind and I was actually at the brink of accepting that. And then I had to get honest with myself and ask myself this one question. Am I really doing the most that I can right now to create the life that I want? Because whenever I would ask myself that I would say yes, of course I am, I'm trying so hard. But the more that I sat with that thought the more uncomfortable it got because that wasn't the case. There were times when I knew that I could do more that I could perform better, yet I wouldn't. There were things that I told myself that I would get done and a checklist to follow and I would never complete it. There were other people that were accomplishing the things that I wanted to do in life and they just kept going, going, going that it made sense that they were successful because they because they tried and they worked so hard. Reality was that no matter how bad that I told myself I wanted it and how bad that I told myself that I was trying for it, I wasn't actually doing the most that I could do. Allowing myself to get so uncomfortable with that hard realization gave me the space to accept it. And that is such a hard thing to accept and it's something that a lot of people don't want to accept. They don't want to admit it. Accepting that that was the honest response allowed me to look back on my behavior, evaluate on what I could do better and fill those gaps. I cannot begin to explain to you how instantly life started to turn around the minute that I started to do more. The minute that I stopped making excuses and trying to coast by and tell myself that I was doing everything that I could. So I don't know, I hope that this helps someone, one person who is going through something similar because you owe it to yourself to see that idea, that plan, that vision that you have for your life all the way through.
