Hook

Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
It's never cinematic. Everything changed for me when I stopped asking what should I do? And started asking, what would the woman I'm becoming do instead? And let me tell you, I make decisions so differently now. Every single time I get dressed, I think about, what would the woman that I'm becoming wear? What would the woman that I'm becoming order? What would the woman that I'm becoming say? How would she walk into a room? And it has changed everything for me. I don't slouch when I walk. I'm not on my phone when I enter rooms. I sit down and I eat my food. I nourish my body. I hydrate myself. I move my body. I teach people how to treat me and greet me. And once you realize that it's the small things that help change your life, not big dramatic moments, that is when you will start doing it, too. It seems like this massive overhaul has to happen before you think anything's changed, but what actually happens is one day you turn around and you realize everything has changed. And that is the biggest thing that you need to learn. So next time you're standing over your kitchen sink eating, go sit down. Next time you are running from the shower to transition, put on a robe to transition. The next time you don't wanna light that really expensive candle, light the candle and enjoy the scent. The next time you're chugging your water and not even tasting it. Slow down and drink your water and feel it nourishing and hydrating your body. So all of these little things eventually will get you where you need to go. And you will stop asking me how I changed my life. It was one tiny moment at a time.
