Here 10 books I'd re-read right now if there was time to re-read books because I'm on a re-reading slump because the new books just keep piling up if I keep re-reading the old ones. Maybe for the Summer by Aubree Pynn, one of my favorite romance books, period. Aubree Pynn is one of my favorite authors. She knows how to write soulmates. And Jay, let me love you by Alexandria House. This is book one in the McClain Brothers. It's been years since I've read this when I got into indie Black romance like heavy, that was one of the first books I read and I was like, oh, this is how indie Black romance authors are coming. Priest by Bre Shadae. This is book one in the Richards. Another book I read early on in my indie romance journey. Baby, that foot-washing scene, one of the first book scenes to like really alter my brain chemistry. Hostile Takeover by Christina C. Jones. This is book one in Blackwood Billions. One of your favorite CCJ books according to comments. I just need to revisit this couple. It's just delicious. I Got You by Miss Jenesequa. This is book one in the Evans Family. Genesis and Jordana. Oh, another delicious couple. And this was one of those first books I read when I got back into indie Black romance. And I just want to listen to so I can get to that car scene. At the End of It All by Ray Lee. Baby, I love Planet Ace. I want to be on Planet Ace. One of my favorite romance books, period. So beautifully written. But baby, I have to read the rest of Ray Lee's catalog because I read the Sun series and Juliet and I haven't read them yet. So I need to be in the present. Bible Study by Tia Love. A lot of y'all ask me, is this a Christian romance? Uh, I mean, there's Christians, there's churches, and there's Bibles, but. Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. That's how she pronounces it. One of my favorite books, period. I love historical fiction. I love multi-generational sagas. One of the best books I've ever read, and it's definitely been almost a decade since I first read it.
