Achill Island Series - Part 63 - Through The Eyes Of A Local 🏝️🍦🦞👙🐚🌊🐬💛🏄🏼🐑🦀⛰️🎻🐄🚴🏼🦑⛵️ 📍Mayo International Kite Festival. Keel Lake & Keel Beach by Pure Magic. You HAVE to come down for this 💛🪁 The International Kite Festival is back on 18th & 19th July, and if you’re on Achill that weekend, this is one thing you don’t want to miss. Keel Beach and Keel Lake are transformed as giant kites from all over the world take over the sky. Some are absolutely enormous, some are brilliantly quirky, and they’re guaranteed to have you standing there with your head tilted back in amazement. Last year, thousands of people made the trip to Achill to experience it, and once you’ve seen those giant kites filling the sky, you’ll understand why. It’s one of those things you just have to see with your own eyes. Pack a picnic, grab a coffee, spend a few hours there, and just soak it all in. Whether you’re five or fifty-five, it’s impossible not to get caught up in the magic. This festival means so much to Achill, and this year your support is more important than ever. With funding becoming more difficult, every ticket sold helps keep this incredible event on our little island for years to come💛 Admission is €5 per adult and €5 per child (single entry) and all children under 4 are free. If the ticket price would make it difficult for you or your family to attend, please don’t let that stop you. Get in touch with Pure Magic directly...they’re committed to making sure everyone has the opportunity to experience the festival @Pure Magic watersports Let’s get behind it and show them just how much this event means to Achill🏝️🪁💛🐑🦞🍦🐬🏄🏼👙🐚🌊 Sponsored by Pure Magic Watersports/Achill @VITHIT Drinks @Westnet & Keel Holiday Cottages #achillisland #thingstodo #kite #fyu #wildatlanticway @Tourism Ireland @Mayo.ie @Discover Ireland
