In the workplace, block, block, block, block everyone on social media. Do not accept them as friends. Do not have your manager on your social media, coworkers, whoever it is, block them all and this is why. If you want a peaceful life without any drama, without them stalking you, without you maybe calling in sick one day and then thinking, oh my god, my manager's on my social media, they're going to be stalking what I'm doing today and over the weekend. What did you go out? Were you drinking? They're going to be looking at reasons to say, hang on a minute, you should be in. You look fine yesterday. If one day you decide to build a business, you're going to need social media for marketing. How are you going to start marketing yourself with all of your jealous coworkers who never want you to escape them, the 95 watching you and then turning your manager. Or perhaps you're building a business and you go off on the canteen break, you sit there and you do some marketing, you start posting and they're going, hang on a minute, you're posting on company time. What is this? You've got a business. They're going to try and get rid of you. I promise you now, drama comes with having your coworkers and managers on social media. I don't know why people do it, just for the extra follower. I don't get it. Because they will monitor you. They will be stalker-y, weird, obsessive manager who loves the company that would literally get rid of them in a heartbeat, but for some reason, because they live on their own, they've got no passions or hobbies or loved ones and they live with a cat, they love their work. So they're going to stalk you. They're going to monitor and watch everything that you do because you've given them access into your personal life. This is the problem. Everyone wants to be a part of the click, everyone wants a new follower. But it might not be the right person. And if it's in the workplace, it's definitely not the right person. Some of you have already accepted people within the workplace and you've probably asked me in the comments, well Aaron, how do I unblock them without it looking too obvious? You can't. You're just going to have to block them. And when they come up to you and say, oh, what, I can't see what you're up to over the weekend. Yeah, you absolutely weirdo, because I've blocked you. I've had enough of you. You stalker. That's the problem. You're going to have those conversations after. You know, you put yourself in that position. This is why you don't have people on your social media. Block all coworkers and you will eliminate all drama.
