5 easily forgotten things to NOT forget before your wedding 💍🤍🕊️

I got married last summer almost a year ago exactly and these are the things that if I were a bride now I would put on my list to not forget before the wedding day. Recently I just got asked to make a video like this and I think it's so smart because when you're a bride you're just not thinking about the little things until sometimes it's too late. Number one would be to have your overnight bag packed and easily accessible at your exit. So you have your bags packed and ready to go the morning of your wedding. Put it somewhere or give it to someone where it can be easily accessible at the end of the night when you're exiting your wedding. That way you have your bag, you can go to your hotel, you have your change of clothes, your makeup light and everything like that, you don't have to worry about it. Number two would be pack or buy a mini sewing kit and put it in your bridal suite box and also like the groom suite box. We ended up needing both of our mini sewing kits for myself and my mother-in-law and I think a groomsman needed one as well. I ripped my dress down my butt like 10 minutes before walking down the aisle and had I not had that mini sewing kit, I literally would have been scared. We would not have known what to do. Number three, dedicate a box for "detail pics" and give to your photographer. To kind of go along with that, have all of your detail shots in a box and give to your photographer. We had like a plastic box called the detail box where we put every single thing that we would want in our detail shots and then we gave it to our photographer the morning of and didn't even have to think about it. The only thing that we did have to go get was obviously like our bands and our rings and then like our vow book. I feel like a lot of times couples forget about their detail shots until like the morning of and then you're scrambling to pull together stuff to give to your photographer. Just put it in a dedicated box, give it to your photographer right when you see her. I promise you, your photographer will also thank you for this. Next, number four, break in your shoes. I tried my best to do. I got like the Betsy Johnson heels which I feel like are very popular for brides, but a lot of brides including myself will tell you they are not comfortable. I think the only reason that I wasn't in excruciating pain all night from the heels is because I broke those puppies in. I wore my shoes all around the house on hardwood, on carpet, on sidewalk, like I broke those puppies in and then before my photos and everything, I made sure to clean the bottom of my shoes. That way they were still clean for all of the detail shots photos. Last, number five, make sure your marriage license actually makes it to the venue. This might seem like a no-brainer, but do not forget your marriage license. Trust me, this happens way more often than I think people realize. Yes, you get the marriage license, but then the marriage license never actually ends up making it to the venue. Put your marriage license in your detail box and just give it to your photographer because your photographer is going to be taking photos of you signing your marriage license anyways.
