Let me show you guys how I blow out my hair in just 20 minutes. It's also very important if you're using the Dyson or the T3 air that your hair is 60 to 80% dry. If it's wet, your hair's not gonna wrap around the curling tool. So, because my hair is wet right now, I'm gonna dry it before curling it. I like to use the blow dryer in an upward direction, not down. Like I genuinely hate when I go to a salon and they blow dry my hair in a downward direction. Like I want volume. When using your Dyson, let your hair wrap around the tool as much as you can before twirling it yourself or physically rolling your hair. I personally don't give it a cool shot and turn it off and pull my hair out. This will usually give me a tighter curl whereas if you turn it off and release your hair, it'll be a bit looser. Another tip, if you want volume, it's to make sure you use a detox or clarifying shampoo during your wash and then nourish it with a light scalp serum. The products you use really do make a difference and thank God most products now already have heat protection in them. When I blow out, curl my hair like this, my hair will keep the shape forever. Like it might be this curly on day one, but day five, six, it'll look like a loose beachy wave. And this is because I have coarse hair. I don't know why people were so shocked when I said this last time and a lot of people actually told me, I don't have coarse hair because I'm Asian. But some Asians do have very coarse hair and it served me very well. I ended with some hair oil. I always brush it out. Please skip the step if your hair is finer. But I use my hands to shape which direction I want and that's it. That's my blowout routine.
