5 businesses I’d start today if I lost it all and had $25K to work with. 1. Home service with recurring contracts: Pest control, exterior cleaning, HVAC service agreements. Recurring revenue is the whole game. Boring on paper but it compounds hard. 2. A niche construction sub-trade in a growth market - Everyone’s fighting over general contracting. The real money is in the sub-trades feeding the boom. Data center corridors, semiconductor plants, warehouse builds. Every one of them needs roofers, site prep crews, low-voltage guys. Follow the capital, not the trend. 3. Social media marketing for local service businesses. - Every trade needs it. Almost none have it. $3-5K a month per client and the pitch writes itself once you have one case study to point at. 4. Real estate wholesaling - No inventory, no repairs, no capital tied up in properties. Pure deal flow. The barrier to entry is picking up the phone, which is why 95% of people never make it past month three. 5. A service business powered by AI - Not an “AI agency.” Build a real service like bookkeeping, lead gen, cold calling, appointment setting, and use AI to run it 3x cheaper and faster than the competition. The winners in every service category over the next 5 years won’t be the ones selling AI as a product. They’ll be the ones who used it operationally to beat everyone else on price and speed. Notice what’s not on this list. No dropshipping. No faceless YouTube. No crypto. No “buy my course.” Every one of these is a real business you’d have to actually run. Which one would you actually start? Drop it in the comments….and if you can’t decide, flip a coin, take the risk! #WakeupPrayHustle for your loved ones!!
