B belly usually isn’t just genetics or fat it’s often tension. Here’s what’s really going on: 1️⃣ Rib flare — when your ribs are flaring out, it pushes your upper abs forward and shuts off your lower abs. 2️⃣ Upper ab gripping — tension here blocks 360° breathing, so pressure shoots forward into your belly instead of distributing around your core. 3️⃣ Rib mobility — if your lateral/posterior ribs are compensated, you physically can’t get air back there, which keeps the tension cycle going. The fix: learn to breathe 360° with real core engagement… managing pressure all the way around instead of just pushing it out front. Releasing upper ab tension helps your lower abs finally turn on. In this video I show: 🤍Skin rolling the upper fascia while engaging the lower core You can also do… 🤍Seated folded diaphragmatic breathing (get air into the posterior ribs) 🤍Sidelying rib expansion for mobility We’re working through all of this step by step in the Summer Core Reset …learning how to send air 360° and finally fix that B belly from the root cause, not just the surface. #deepcore #diastasisrecti #ribflare #motherhood #coreworkout
