Once the tape is folded this way, every pair of numbers that lines up across the fold shares a hidden mathematical relationship. The fold creates a mirror around its midpoint, causing every aligned pair of numbers to always add up to 126. Since 126 represents 2026 when counting years from 1900, a birth year on one side automatically aligns with the corresponding age on the other. For example, someone born in 1988 aligns with 38 because 88 + 38 = 126, while someone born in 1956 aligns with 70 because 56 + 70 = 126. It's a clever demonstration of symmetry and arithmetic that turns an ordinary tape measure into an instant age calculator. No copyright infringement intended.
