“If they can do it… why can’t you?” My mum didn’t just say those words she lived them. She completed a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering while raising four children. Years later, I earned a First-Class degree from Warwick and received an offer to study Computer Science at UCL. Then I learnt something I wish more people talked about: Sometimes getting accepted isn’t the hardest part. Sometimes it’s being able to afford to say yes.
