I genuinely don’t know how to put this feeling into words. A few months ago, I came on here and admitted that I had earned my place at UCL, but I didn’t know how I was going to afford to take it. 163 days later my fundraiser reached £8,000. Eight. Thousand. Pounds. 😭 Some of you donated £5. Some donated £10. Some couldn’t donate, so you shared my videos, sent me opportunities, joined my 24-hour study live, watched me run from Ealing to UCL 😭, left comments, messaged me encouragement and kept believing that I would somehow get there. There were so many points during this where I wondered whether I was being completely ridiculous for believing I could actually raise £8,000 on the internet. But my mum raised me with one question: “If they can do it, why can’t you?” To every single person who helped me get here: thank you. Fundraiser: complete.
