8 potentially unethical ways to write a First-Class essay 👀 Getting a First isn’t about reading every paper ever published, using the longest words you can find or spending 14 hours in the library. A HUGE part of it is understanding what academic writing is actually asking you to DO. How do I turn sources into an argument? How do I stop being descriptive? What does “be more critical” ACTUALLY look like? How do I use counterarguments without contradicting myself? How do I make my own voice come through when I’m referencing academics constantly?
