Full flow down here ⬇️ Comment PART 2 if you’d like to see a full demo post (I can make this into a series) where I explain exactly how I do this movement. 🩷 I used to work out, lift weights, and do all the things... but my body still felt stiff, puffy, and my skin just didn’t look as smooth as I wanted. So, just like my other tools, I started working with my body instead of simply pushing it harder. Cue full-body flow movements, like we practice inside SomaSync.co , to open up areas that are commonly missed. How I do this: ✨ Start in a staggered stance: right leg back, left leg forward. ✨ Rotate your body toward your front (left) leg. ✨ Then step back with your left leg while rotating to the right. ✨ Keep your right foot planted the entire time. Then switch sides: ✨ Left leg back, right leg forward. ✨ Rotate toward your right leg. ✨ Step back with your right leg while rotating to the left. ✨ Keep your left foot planted. Why I love this movement... Our body isn’t designed to only move forward and backward, it was designed to spiral too. This gentle twisting pattern works with what’s often called the Spiral Fascial Line, a connective tissue pathway that helps coordinate rotation from your head all the way down to your feet. As you rotate, you’re encouraging your muscles, fascia, joints, breathing, and nervous system to work together instead of in isolated pieces. For me, it’s one of those movements that simply helps my body feel less stuck and more fluid. (Educational and informational)
