One of the biggest lies that society tells chosen ones is that if you move back home to your hometown, that means you fail. But what if your soul had a completely different plan? Because after my apartment caught on fire, I had a choice. Keep forcing a life in a place that my soul couldn't grow, or move back home and rebuild y'all. Coming back home to emotionally unavailable parents with narcissistic traits was not on my vision board at all. But neither was staying in survival mode just to protect my ego. And at first, I did think I was moving backwards, just like society tells us. It took me six months to realise that I was just being repositioned. My soul was not bringing me back to become the same old version of myself. It literally brought me back just to show me that I no longer needed external validation to feel regulated. Because that's something I rarely used to struggle with and I didn't even know I struggled with it, baby. It brought me back to be able to build my businesses without chaos being my identity. It brought me back to show me that I needed to stop expecting emotionally unavailable people to suddenly become emotionally available. I came back to create safety from within and not chasing it from the outside. That's why I say everyone's contract is absolutely different and you gotta read your own. Some people are called to leave immediately, and some people are called to move back home for a season. And none of it is punishment. It's usually preparation. The question isn't, why am I back here? The real question is, which version of you is this season asking you to become? Because once you know your soul assignment, you stop trying to fight the classroom and you start actually graduating it.
