You never know someone else's financial situation. I had a great morning walk with a friend this morning. We were talking about this and how it's so easily in New York City that you can think, oh, all these other people are going out buying new things, buying nice things, living this beautiful home. But really, they can't afford it and shouldn't be buying it. Then also the other way around, right? Like someone might be buying very expensive things, live in this beautiful home. But really, they can't afford it and shouldn't be buying it. Just reflect on what can you do with your own situation, right? How can you save more? How can you switch careers to make more money? And try not to compare yourself to other people, especially when you're in New York City where someone living on your street could be making half as much and another person could be making 50 times as much as you.
