Susan Yara you make me SICK. Naturium is out

I remember there being a day a few years ago where I opened my Twitter feed and the first image I saw was a baby with its head blown off. And a few days later, I also saw a video of a man screaming while his internal organs were exposed through his stomach. Innocent Palestinians whose only crime was existing in a world where bloodthirsty colonialist settlers want to take what doesn't belong to them. Those are things that change you, even just hearing about them alone would be enough to radicalize me. But seeing it was a completely different story. So imagine my shock when the founder of a very well-loved skincare brand unabashedly posts herself vacationing in Israel, the same apartheid state responsible for that headless child or that man with his organs exposed, the people who are dying from famine every single day, people who are literally being blown up, people who are being ethnically cleansed and forced out of their homes. And to think she could have gone to the concrete beach in Chicago and it would have been more scenic than that literal killing field. Even though Susan Yara sold Naturium to Elf years ago, I still feel extremely uncomfortable having anything to do with a brand that still associates itself in any way with a woman who would disregard and essentially spit on the lost lives of millions of innocent people for the sake of a thirst trap.
