best toner mists at Ulta for $21 or less!

I feel like a lot of hydrating face mist on the market are designed for skincare application, but don't really provide much other benefit than that. As a literal hydration fanatic, here are my picky esthetician approved toner mists at Ulta that actually work and are worth your money. If you're a fan of Bubble's Cosmic Silk toner, you will absolutely love their new Cosmic Rain Hydrating Mist ($15). This uses a really cool hydration system called Aquaxyl that offers 3D hydration. It strengthens your skin's barrier, maintains hydration levels in the skin by increasing the available and cycling it of the skin and prevents water loss to prevent your skin from drying out. That means you're going to be getting long-term hydration that lasts beyond just a few hours after applying it. It has other hydrators like glycerin and hyaluronic acid, barrier supporting ingredients like ectoin and ceramides to lock in the moisture. It has this beautiful milky silky texture that's lightweight and fluid, which makes it really easy to layer products. I also love layering it on top of itself to get that skin flooding benefit without having to use several different toners. The Inkey List Hydro Surge Dewy Face Mist ($13). If you were intrigued by that Aquaxyl system in Cosmic Rain, you'd probably also enjoy the Hydro-Surge Dewy Face Mist from the Inkey List. It uses Aquaxyl in addition to cucumber extract and marine water for soothing the skin and reducing inflammation, dealing with redness or irritated breakouts. This could help calm things down a bit. This one has more of a watery texture versus like Cosmic Rain, so I think it would work really well for more oily skin types who want deep hydration that feels lightweight. The watery texture also makes it great for melting powders after makeup application. VT Cosmetics PDRN Glow Ampoule ($21). Korean skincare brands definitely know what they're doing when it comes to creating hydrating toners, and this PDRN Glow Ampoule from VT Cosmetics is no exception. Their PDRN essence is pretty popular, but I think this deserves more love. It's a milky toner mist that has that thinner, easier to layer texture. It uses plant-based PDRN that basically kickstarts your skin's regeneration and repair process. It helps with strengthening the skin's barrier, giving you the appearance of firmer, smoother skin. This one also has multiple ceramides for hydration and moisture, locking in hydration and moisture. I layer this between pretty much every step of my skincare routine and the glow and radiance I wake up to in the morning is mind blowing. Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Capsule Mist ($21). Anua is another Korean skincare brand that always gets it right with their hydrating products, and this PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Capsule Mist is one of the coolest ones on the market. If you look closely at the bottle, it actually has these oil capsules that are suspended in the water essence that burst open when you spray it. At first I thought it was just going to be a gimmicky product, but after a few days of using this during the winter, it made such a huge difference. Besides the PDRN, which we already discussed the benefits of, this is packed with other humectants like urea and multiple types of hyaluronic acid to give you surface level and deeper hydration, which is what gives your skin that bouncy plump look. It also uses collagen, which is one of my favorite humectants because it floods the top layer of the skin with hydration to give you that juicy glow.
