Replying to @faith 🪷 On today’s GLOOW Grade episode, we’re reviewing Cerave’s Invisible Mineral Sunscreen. It’s honestly extremely disappointing to see such a large brand attempting to advertise a mineral sunscreen as invisible when that is quite literally impossible lol. Not every person going to the store to purchase sunscreen is skincare savvy and knows the difference between sunscreen types or which filters do/don’t leave a white cast, so it’s wrong to knowingly deceive your customer base. I don’t believe in having to wear less of a DOSAGE BASED product or wear makeup in order to work around the white cast when there are so many chemical (or even hybrid) formulas that don’t leave a cast on my skin lol. There really isn’t an advantage to wearing mineral formulas either because they’ve been proven to be just as safe as chemical filters and function in the exact same way (check out my recent “debunking sunscreen myths video)! Unless you have a specific sensitivity to a chemical filter, there’s no reason to make yourself suffer through white casts for nothing lol. Let me know your thoughts, and feel free to suggest which formula I should review next!
