You will definitely be choosing this sourdough focaccia pizza recipe over any single night once you try it. And that is not an exaggeration. The recipe starts off with a mistake, but I view it as a happy mistake. Some overproofed sourdough. This is my regular loaf recipe which I'll include in the caption, but you're gonna let it overproof to a pan. I sprayed some avocado oil and you're gonna stretch out the dough as wide as you can without breaking it. I'm using about three tablespoons of melted grass-fed butter and I included Italian seasoning, oregano, and basil. I spread that out generously on the dough and then you're gonna start the dimpling process for about five minutes. That is done. I topped it with a little bit of garlic powder and then you're gonna do your toppings directly onto the pizza. I do not bake the dough first. I use my favorite pizza sauce, you can use whichever. Marinara. And then I topped it with my favorite cheese. I like to do mozzarella and then a Monterey Jack cheese blend on top. You can add whatever toppings you would like. We just love pepperoni pizza, so that's all we did for today. And then I put it in the oven at 425 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes. If you live in a blue-collar house, you know that we're going in with our Snap-on pizza cutter. Transfer the pizza to a cutting board just to make it a little bit easier and I sliced it into squares. Can also brush it with a garlic butter on the crust, but I just leave it as is and it is my favorite. And there are none left.
