Things that are worth being snobby over. I will start this by saying as a girl from a working class background at a Russell Group uni, I have experienced snobbiness to the max. Whether that's judgement over my Costa Del Sol holiday, from my family shopping at Lidl to just the randomest things, and I absolutely hate snobbiness as a whole. However, I am referring to maybe having a preference for quality when it comes to certain things and in these cases I can allow a little bit of snobbiness. Starting off strong, coffee. Don't get me wrong, I still make coffee at home all the time, I definitely don't need to be buying one out, but I can now appreciate a good quality coffee. It's something you're putting in your body maybe even everyday. I think having good quality makes a big difference and if you do drink coffee regularly, you probably do notice the difference between cheap coffee and maybe more quality coffee, not just in the way it tastes, but also the way it makes you feel. And on a very similar note, wine. Cheap wine can be very acidic, I don't think it leads to the best buzz or the best tipsiness. It can make you just feel a bit rubbish and after living in Spain and studying in Spain for a year, I can now really appreciate good quality wine and it doesn't have to be necessarily expensive, but I probably would no longer go for the cheapest bottle on the shelf. High quality bedding and pajamas. Preferably made of some sort of cotton or cotton blend. Having a preference for these is totally understandable. Again, this is maybe an everyday scenario, so your cosplay use would just be so low anyway. It also contributes to quality of sleep potentially, so I think it's actually important to be a little bit snobby over this. On that same note, having soft and maybe luxurious feeling towels or like a dressing gown. Again, everyday usage and it's probably gonna motivate you to just look after yourself, do your self care and everything. Chocolate, and specifically dark chocolate. These days, I just feel like chocolate is getting worse and worse quality. I think it's totally understandable to be a snob over having a certain amount of real cocoa in your chocolate. I mean, I still buy my dark chocolate from Lidl and it's my favourite, but I always go for 70% or more. And finally a winter's coat. For winter's coat, you're wanting to get your utility out of that, so I can totally understand being snobby over having a really good quality winter's coat or perhaps the material that is made out of. I recently bought a wool coat which I will be debuting this winter. I mean I got it on Vinted, doesn't have to be super expensive, but being a bit snobby over having a good quality winter's coat is totally understandable.
