Budget My Paycheck With Me I'm a 30-year-old mom who's trying to build wealth to save for a wedding and still enjoy her life. I got paid $2,966 so let's give every dollar a job. First, $1,820 is going towards our bills and fixed expenses. Then I'm putting $500 into savings, including money we're setting aside for our wedding. Then $200 is going towards investing because future me still needs to be taken care of. I'm also setting aside $300 for groceries and everyday expenses. And then I have $146 left for fun money and anything unexpected. My goal is not to spend as little as possible, it's to make sure my money is actually helping me build the life that I want. So that's where this paycheck is going. I'll see you guys in two weeks to do it all over again.
