[ THINGS TO DO ] RIDE QUAD BIKES ACROSS AN ISLAND BEACH THEN FEED WILD DOLPHINS AT SUNSET JUST 75 MINUTES FROM BRISBANE 🐬 This Adrenaline day trip drops you on Moreton Island, a 75 minute ferry ride off the coast of Brisbane, for a guided quad bike tour that runs along the beach and through the bush. You spend the day with a full pass to Tangalooma Island Resort, then close it out at sunset by wading into the shallows to hand feed a family of wild bottlenose dolphins. The dolphins are completely wild and turn up of their own accord each evening, which is what makes feeding one by hand feel so rare. THE QUAD BIKE TOUR 🏍️ 45 minute ride: A guided quad bike tour that runs along the beach and through thick bushland, with training included before you set off. 🏝️ Resort day pass: Your ticket gets you into Tangalooma Island Resort for the day, so you can hit the pool, the bar or hire water sports gear between activities. 🍔 Lunch sorted: A $25 lunch voucher per adult is included, plus a standard drink on the boat over. 👧 Worth noting: The quad bike has a minimum age of 10, though younger kids can still join the dolphin feed. THE SUNSET DOLPHIN FEED 🐬 Sunset hand feed: A family of wild bottlenose dolphins visits the shallows at dusk and you wade in knee deep to feed them by hand with an Eco Ranger guiding you. 🌅 The setting: You feed them straight off the beach as the sun drops, with the Brisbane city lights flickering on across the bay. 🐟 Genuinely wild: The dolphins are not captive and arrive on their own each night, fed only a small share of their daily food so they keep hunting for themselves. GOOD TO KNOW ✍🏻 Wear swimwear or shorts because you wade into the water to feed the dolphins, and wash off any sunscreen or lotions first. ☔️ Dolphin feeding depends on weather, tides and dolphin attendance so it is never fully guaranteed, though it rarely misses. 📍 This experience can be booked via @adrenaline.com.au Who are you taking with you? 🏍️🐬 Made in partnership with Adrenaline
