McKinney just went big. 🏭 Taiwan based tech giant LiteOn is bringing a $919 million advanced manufacturing campus to McKinney, one of the largest private investments in the city's history. The new home base will span more than 650,000 square feet at the Core5 Logistics Center off Cypress Hill Drive. Even better for locals: at least 600 new jobs in engineering, advanced manufacturing, and corporate operations, with hiring rolling out in phases as the site gets running in 2027. LiteOn builds the power and battery systems behind servers and data centers, and they chose McKinney over sites in Washington and Tennessee for our workforce and momentum. When companies this size plant a flag here, it lifts everything: jobs, rooftops, and home values. Article via Community Impact Hot tips around Denton County or the rest of DFW?
