Flower Mound, a Costco might be in your future. 🛒 The warehouse giant just took its first public step toward a store in town, filing a parking study for a proposed location inside Cottonwood, an 86 acre mixed use development stretching from Dixon Road to FM 407, just east of FM 2499. The plans include a Costco with a fuel center. Here's the catch: it's early. The land is currently zoned agricultural, so the project still has to work its way through Planning and Zoning and Town Council before anything is approved. The broader Cottonwood plan calls for 24 buildings of retail, restaurant, and industrial space, plus a new road connecting Dixon Lane to FM 407. We'll be watching this one closely.
