Well, it's official. LinkedIn is under investigation. Attorney General Ken Paxton is investigating LinkedIn for advertising fake and misleading job opportunities to people who are paying for a premium account. Anyone who is on LinkedIn has seen this activity. I know firsthand that there are some staffing agencies that will literally post the same job over and over and over, and they're collecting resumes. But on the other side of it, LinkedIn is them profiting because they get money from people who will try and boost job postings. Because all these fake jobs make it harder for the real jobs to be seen. So LinkedIn is technically profiting of all these fake job postings. What will be really interesting is if this goes somewhere with LinkedIn. Indeed is guaranteed to be next. because these staffing agencies, these recruiting companies, they're doing the same thing over there. They're collecting resumes, And then the companies that are really hiring in order to get their job seen because there's so many fake jobs that then having to pay to boost jobs. So both of these companies are profiting. So it's gonna start with LinkedIn, but I guarantee this is gonna move over to every single job board. Keep paying attention to this story. I guarantee you this is not the last time we hear about this. Super curious to hear what you have to say in the comments if you've experienced fake jobs as well.
