Getting my nails done in the French village. I'm off to the nail salon in the village. New nails. I have absolutely loved these, beautiful shade of red with a cute little flower on on each hand. And I'm wondering what to get today. I default to yellow, this bright, luminous yellow every time. But we'll see. In we go. Angel has this darling beauty studio. Downstairs, it's all about the nails, upstairs it's all about beauty treatments. Bonjour. Bonjour. Bonjour. Deja dans les couleurs? Already looking at the colours! Deja dans les couleurs! Right, I've got five options. Thinking maybe this one. Look how pretty that is. Angel always spends a really long time shaping my nails just right, buffing them down so they're really smooth and exactly as I like them. First coat going on. Have I made the right decision with the sparkles? How gorgeous is that? Lovely job. Really pretty. Very normal striking nails, but I love those. I've been going to that nail salon for 2 years, and she really, really does a lovely job. Look, so elegant. Sparkles. What I love about it is the shared history. You know, I on holiday, how mine was, where I'm going next, I was able to talk, you know, turning 50 and what that means, 50 till next year. It's all these shared experiences that, that, in a village, go to same places all the time, it provides that sense of community. And I'm leaning into it. It's really nice and I've got fab nails.
