a cop car a canine and a cry for answers let's head out to rockton illinois so the question what happened to cody me in the story and it is horrific cody was an eight-month-old french bulldog his dad valdemir gonzalez says cody died after being inside that rockton police squad car during a traffic stop july 27th temperatures hit 96 degrees a heat index he says near 110 now he says he repeatedly asked for water and I've been telling the police vehicle had no ac he says me some water he was ignored cody for my dog. died he says on he's loose, the emergency vet now I don't want him the rockton police department media early today telling a different story they say gonzalez gave them false info when they stopped him they later id'd him for speeding driving an uninsured vehicle and driving with a suspended license i'm getting to a point here that last point gonzalez said he was unaware suspended so police went to say the officer put gonzalez in what they say is an air-conditioned squad car and they said later drove to a gas station brought cody inside they gave him water and ice they say gonzalez thanked the officer and shook his hand before leaving now to hear both sides of the story with my own ears from each side i reached as of right now i have not heard back i also reached out to gonzalez as well on tiktok he initially responded then when i asked him questions and understandably here the conversation went quiet i mean my god he just lost his dog so for me where am i now two stories no cody a necropsy not completed gonzalez set up a gofundme nearly two grand in about 13 hours now Honoring Kody: Support for Memorial and Legal Fees @wildemar.gonzalez Donation protected as someone who investigates animal cruelty and works for the dogs the animals all i can say at this point we've got two stories once again though a poor dog failed cody decided he deserves answers and that's what I'm searching for and I'm going to keep asking those questions for cody stay tuned
